Please note:

The outgoing mail server (SMTP) you'll preferably use is the one provided by your ISP (Telbo, Flamingo etc.). If this does not work properly or if you experience problems sending mail, read the manual (see above) to change the SMTP-settings to mail.[yourdomain.com]. This server requires authentication with the same username and password as the POP3-server for incoming mail!

For other e-mail programs, please refer to the 'help' section or manual included in the program.
